Certification Programs
PRISM Certified
IFO4-CERT-PRISMCertifies that an organization's cloud cost data processes and tooling conform to the PRISM standard. Validates resource type taxonomy implementation, pricing dimension coverage, and data interchange format compliance.
GCCF Compliant
IFO4-CERT-GCCFCertifies that a government agency or contractor's cloud financial management practices comply with the Government Cloud Cost Framework. Required for certain federal procurement programs.
IFO4 Maturity Assessment
IFO4-CERT-MATFormal assessment of an organization's FinOps maturity level using the Enterprise Maturity Model. Provides a scored rating from Level 1 (Initial) to Level 5 (Optimizing).
Assessment Process
Application
Organization submits application specifying the certification program, scope, and desired level. IFO4 Secretariat reviews eligibility and assigns a lead assessor.
Document Review
Lead assessor reviews organizational documentation including policies, procedures, system architectures, and data flows against the applicable standard.
On-Site Assessment
Assessment team conducts on-site (or virtual) evaluation. Includes interviews with key personnel, system demonstrations, and evidence collection.
Findings Report
Assessment team produces a detailed findings report documenting conformance status, nonconformities (if any), observations, and recommendations.
Remediation
If nonconformities are identified, the organization has 90 days to implement corrective actions and provide evidence of resolution.
Certification
Upon successful completion, IFO4 issues the certification. The organization is listed in the certified directory and may use the IFO4 conformity mark.
